Continuous Sealing Path
Plan the perimeter, seam location and corners around the enclosure geometry. Avoid placing seams where water or movement concentrates.
DRAWING-BASED CUSTOM PARTS
Low-force foam sealing profiles for doors, lids and housings exposed to dust, splash, vibration and thermal movement.
Share the sealing path, closure force, enclosure geometry and environment for a foam-seal construction review.

Foam seals differ from general foam pads by prioritising continuity around a perimeter. Converted into strips, frames or complex rings, they help control ingress and air leakage on housings where tolerances and panel flatness are variable.
Their compliant cell structure accommodates door movement and unevenness while requiring less closure force than many solid elastomer seals.
Typical values for reference only. Final material grade, tolerance and dimensional capability are confirmed after drawing review.

Adhesive Backing →Specified strip widths and sheet conversion for downstream assembly.
Custom Material Slitting →DESIGN REVIEW
Practical points to include when selecting foam and preparing a drawing for review.
Plan the perimeter, seam location and corners around the enclosure geometry. Avoid placing seams where water or movement concentrates.
Specify the available closure force and joint gap so the foam can be selected for controlled, repeatable compression.
For adhesive-backed seals, indicate preferred liner breaks, pull tabs and installation direction for the assembly workflow.
Ingress performance depends on the selected foam grade, compression, enclosure design and validation testing.
Do not infer an IP rating from the foam alone.
Foam seal design should consider the full perimeter path, available closure force, seam location, liner configuration and enclosure environment.
Pressurised liquid systems, sharp metal edges without support, or exposure to fluids that attack the chosen adhesive or foam.

No drawing available? Send the enclosure perimeter, gap, closure method, environment and preferred seam location for review.
Foam seals are commonly designed around a continuous perimeter and closure path, while gasket geometry can serve other flat interface designs.
Provide the available joint gap, closure force and selected application conditions for construction review.
Yes. Include the mating surface, environment and preferred liner configuration in the RFQ.
Seam location should be reviewed with corners, drainage paths, movement and the enclosure geometry.
Liner breaks, pull tabs and installation direction can be configured for the assembly workflow.
No. Ingress performance depends on foam grade, compression, enclosure design, joint geometry and validation testing.
Prototype feasibility is reviewed with the material, perimeter geometry, liner requirements and quantity.
Yes. CAD files, PDFs, dimensioned sketches and clear reference images can be reviewed for a custom quotation.
Include the drawing, material preference if known, critical dimensions, quantity and the application environment.
The manufacturing route is reviewed against the material, profile, critical requirements, quantity and delivery format rather than assumed from the part name.
